Terms of use

Adults

This site describes a house with one gaming room in it. Nova Scotia sets the age for that room at 19. Under that age the door does not open and neither does this part of the site.

Nothing is played here

No wager reaches wholepotato.com, no account sits behind it and no money moves on it. No game is served from these pages and no application is offered. All of it happens in one room at 14 Pelham Street.

Accuracy

The hours and the counts are kept up and can still be wrong when you get here: a table shut, a room off, a boat that did not sail. Nothing here is an offer. A booking counts from the moment we confirm it to you, by telephone or in writing.

What is ours

The words, the pictures and the drawings on this site are our own work. Lift a sentence if you must, and point at the page it came from. The photographs and the drawings are not to be reused elsewhere, and nobody else’s name belongs on them.

Links out

Where this site points at a museum or a tour, that is convenience. What is at the far end of a link is not ours, and nobody pays us for the mention.

In the house

Staff may refuse entry to the counting room, the counter or the house, and may ask anybody to leave, without giving a reason. It is nearly always drink. It is not a negotiation. The galley serves once.

The site

A folder of files on a commercial server. It is unavailable occasionally and we undertake nothing about that.

Liability

We answer for what we get wrong in the house. We do not carry liability for loss that follows from using this site, so far as the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and of Canada permit. Your consumer rights are unaffected.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and of Canada, and the courts of Nova Scotia have jurisdiction.
