Reviewed 31 October 2026. Written for wholepotato.com, about this one house on the hill. Not a template and not a copy.
Who publishes this site
Wholepotato, 14 Pelham Street, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia B0J 2C0, Canada. Write to [email protected] or telephone (902) 634 8192.
Reading only
Nobody is identified by reading these pages. There is no booking engine here, no payment page and no account, so this site holds no name, no card and no reservation.
Two values may be left in your browser, and no other site can see either:
| Name | Holds | Lasts |
|---|---|---|
| wholepotato_age_ok | yes, once the age question is answered | Until browser storage is cleared |
| wholepotato_consent | granted or denied | Until browser storage is cleared |
Both stay on your device. Neither reaches us and neither reaches anyone else.
Server records
Our host records the requesting address, the page, the time, the browser string and the response code. Kept thirty days, read when the site is broken or under attack, joined to nothing.
Email and telephone
Email is kept while the matter is open and for twelve months after. Telephone calls are not recorded. Nothing is passed on for marketing by us or by anybody acting for us.
Measurement
No analytics or advertising tag loads here. Consent Mode sets all four signals to denied in the head of every page, before any other script runs. If a tag is ever added it will not fire until Allow is chosen, and it stops when that answer changes.
Why we may do this
Your consent for the stored answers, under PIPEDA and the Nova Scotia personal information legislation. For the server log, our legitimate interest in a site that works and is not broken into. Correspondence is held because you asked us to do something.
Who else is involved
Our hosting provider and our mail provider. Neither gets more than carrying the request requires. Nothing is sold to anybody.
Your rights, and complaints
You may ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and complain about how it was handled. Write to us first. If that does not settle it, the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada receives complaints about federally regulated private-sector organisations in Canada.
Young people
Everything here is addressed to an adult reader. We knowingly collect nothing from anyone under 19, and the one room in the house with an age rule is staffed at its door.
When this page changes
The review date above moves whenever the words below it do. There is no list to tell, so nothing is told.
